Escape from your everyday chores, join fellow campers and spend 5 days in Lake Oswego, Oregon doing what you love – sewing. Come with a buddy or make new sewing friends.

Take advantage of Marla's 30 years of experience as a custom dressmaker and get assistance with your sewing. Each day, tips and fine sewing techniques will be presented to help you with your projects. Fit patterns, try a fabric you've never sewn with before or make some simple design changes to an old pattern. Tackle a daunting new project, take a field trip to shop for fabric in Portland's famous fabric stores or just come and have fun sewing in a relaxed environment. The activities are all up to you.

This camp will be limited to 6 campers to ensure individual attention. A $100 non-refundable deposit will reserve a space for you.

Camp will be held at the Fairfield Inn & Suites - Portland South/Lake Oswego, located at 6100 SW Meadows Road, Lake Oswego OR 97035. You may bring your own sewing machine or arrange with Marla to borrow one. A serger will be available for your use in class as well.

Camp sessions begin at 9:00 AM and finish each day at 5:30 PM. The classroom is available to you in the evening and will be locked securely overnight.

Lunch is included each day. There are many restaurants within walking distance for dinner on your own.

OPTIONAL SHOPPING DAY

An optional shopping day on Wednesday, July 25, will give you an opportunity to visit many of the fabulous fabric stores in Portland – Josephine's, Fabric Depot, Mill End and others. Shop for the perfect fabric for your class project or add an irresistible piece to your stash. Lunch will be included and we'll shop 'til we drop! The fee for this optional day is $85.

To reserve your space, please send the registration form and a check for either the $100 non-refundable deposit or the total workshop fee. The balance is due June 26, 2012. Please make checks payable to Marla Kazell. Return form to:

CANCELLATIONS

For cancellations made 30 days prior to the workshop or earlier, any fees received (beyond the $100 non-refundable deposit) will be refunded or transferred to another workshop. There are no refunds or transfers for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the workshop. Workshops may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not obtained 30 days prior to workshop. All deposits and fees will then be refunded.
