Bias collars and bows. Gathers, ruffles and softly draping silk. Pretty, feminine details will be the focus as you sew beautiful blouses.
Starting with a basic pattern, you will learn how to change or add pattern details to make each blouse unique. Draft
a simple bias collar or add a softly tied bow. Transfer darts to tucks or gathers. Create circular ruffles. Make a
hidden placket. Add wrist drape or French cuffs. The possibilities are endless.
Design your perfect blouse or pick any blouse pattern. Choose a beautiful silk – charmeuse, crepe de chine or chiffon,
or a charming Liberty print. Then learn techniques for sewing beautiful blouses. Included will be tips for cutting and
marking, choosing interfacings and sewing even gathers, smooth darts, perfect French seams and very narrow hems.
